So this week you get a double Share Your World from me. I just didn’t feel like sitting in front of my computer and writing or sharing my world much last week….things haven’t changed a lot this week, but sometimes you just need a distraction. SO, here you go, my world, shared with you. Weeks 33 and 34 combined!
What are some words that just make you smile?
Not so sure there are any words themselves that do. Maybe the images or feelings they bring to me are what make me smile. Maybe the best ones would be.
I love you.
I miss you.
I am thinking about you!
You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?
I would start accounts for my kids. Of course pay off every bill I have. Finish fixing the house. Invest enough to never have to worry! (No one said I HAD to spend it all right?)
oh yeah, and I would travel, can’t forget travel!
What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?
Photography. That is the first thing that came to mind, so that is my answer. I love to take pictures. Love to look at them. I would love to know everything about cameras and photography!
Would your rather be stuck in a small plane with bad turbulence for 2 hours or be a passenger in a car racing the Daytona 500?
How long is the ride at Daytona? This didn’t say it would be for the whole race, right? 😉 This is tough. But I am pretty sure my answer would never be in a small plane with bad turbulence for 2 hours. So by process of elimination, that leaves me with the car in the Daytona 500.
Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?
School was both. The subjects were for the most part easy. I didn’t have to study in order to get good grades. I wish I would have and gotten into that habit before college, though! Difficult. Yeah, for the reason, no one wanted ever asked me to the dances. I did get called names at times. I wasn’t allowed to do a whole lot-I was always home babysitting. I was glad when I graduated and got to move out and on.
What is your favorite animal?
If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts?
I have to and I have both. I wear two different pairs of glasses because I cannot adjust to bifocals. I have tried many times. I am always having to switch between them. It is a major inconvenience! I switched to a new eye doctor and she asked me if I ever tried contacts. I didn’t know it was possible! It is. Although they can’t correct my vision near and far perfectly, it is very close. So I prefer contacts-when they are not giving me grief and taking forever to get in, that is!
List: Name at least five television shows (past or present) you enjoyed?
Scrubs, That 70’s Show, Sons of Anarchy, The Monkees, The Big Bang Theory, The Partridge Family
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am combing the two weeks into one. The answer is the same. I am grateful for friends and family. I am grateful for memories and I am grateful for the photographs that help keep those memories a little clearer. I am grateful.
That is a hard one to answer-what am I looking forward to? I am looking forward to each day, the sunshine, the wind, watching the sun rising/setting. I am looking forward to hugs, smiles and I love yous.
