As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A mom (did that), a teacher, a journalist and for a short time, a fashion designer-I liked to sew clothes for my Barbies when I was in grade school. Well, I didn’t become a journalist, but I have always written, whether it was poems, short stories, blogs, like this one, or my book.
What was your favorite food as a child? Do you eat it now?
I think it was burgers and fries, as that always seemed more of a treat. We were a meat, potatoes, vegetable, every night kind of family. I still eat and love burgers and fries now. Eating out, you can find some really incredible ones. One of my favorites is from The Cafe in Ames, Iowa! And I really liked this one from Gordon Ramsay’s Burgr in Las Vegas!
If you were invisible, where would you go?
This is a tough one. I don’t even know. I am not even sure I WOULD go anywhere. I think that IS my answer? There is no where I would go.
Would you rather forget everyone else’s name all the time or have everyone forget your name all the time?
I would rather they forgot mine. I don’t like it when I forget people’s names. I try to remember, but sometimes it isn’t always easy. I really don’t like when I recognize someone and have no clue as to their name-or sometimes even why I recognize them! Most people don’t forget my name. It is a pretty easy one to remember.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for the usual-the ability to see yet another sunrise. I truly love them all and am grateful to be here to see them!
I am looking forward to traveling to Omaha on trip with some of the North Iowa Bloggers. Stay tuned for further posts about our adventures!
Thanks so very much for sharing this week. We have a few things in common 😀
I noticed that…more than once even! Thanks for great questions again!
I recently had a burger with grilled pineapples mixed into the meat and then smothered in sweet chile sauce and pepper-jack cheese….. sooooooo yummy!
Interesting! Just returning from a trip to Omaha, we stopped at a place with 30 Artisan burgers. One of the samples had peanut butter and jelly on it…I passed on that one!
