In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
Another one of those questions that I can’t answer either or. The answer is both. But it depends on the circumstances. Sometimes I like driving, like to be the one in control of the driving. Then there are sometimes, I absolutely don’t want to. Certain cities, for example. After visiting Denver in March, I am not so sure I would have the patience to take on I-25! When I had this car, I ALWAYS wanted to drive!
If you were handed free opera tickets, would you go or sell them? Why?
I would not use them, as I really don’t enjoy opera at all, but I would give them away. They were given to me, why would I sell them?
Describe your own outlook on life in seven words or less. (NOTE: does not necessarily have to be a sentence.)
Find your joy in every day!
Which would you prefer: a wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, and adventure–intoxicating successes and stunning setbacks; or a contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood?
Hmmm….seems like I already have had the first life. And it can be tiring. I do love the joy, passion and adventure and have learned a lot from the sorrow. My first answer to this was: ‘I think I would pick the second one. Oh to be happy and secure. And to be surrounded by friends and family? Bonus. What truly could be better than that!’
But then it was pointed out, it said ‘bordering’ on happy, secure, and predictable. So, can I change my answer? I am going to. I think I will keep the first one….It is one I have and I AM happy! So maybe the two lives aren’t so mutually exclusive?
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week, my niece was still here for a couple days, so I am picking that. Being able to sit and talk with her for a bit was a great thing! I look forward to the Fourth of July holiday coming up this weekend. Parade, carnival, fireworks.
I always enjoy the time hanging out with family and friends.
