What’s your favorite charitable cause and why?

This is probably the EASIEST question I ever had and most people who know my would know why.  It is The National Inclusion Project. Why? Their Mission Statement is:

Our mission: The National Inclusion Project serves to bridge the gap that exists between young people with disabilities and the world around   them. We partner with communities and inclusive programs creating  awareness about the possibilities that inclusion can bring.

To me, inclusion is just the right thing and I have written about it here a couple times. I invite you to read those blogs if you haven’t. We need to remember that ALL children belong and ALL benefit when inclusion happens! And of course, Jamie is the reason I got involved in fighting for inclusion so many many years ago!

What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?

Black. You can’t go wrong with black. I wear it all year long. I will not buy or way pastels. Give me dark colors any day.

If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? (guest can be dead, alive, famous or someone you just know)

President Obama, Clay Aiken, Robin Williams. I want them all on at the same time, too. Imagine how smart, funny and entertaining that would be.

List:  What are at least five places you’ve enjoyed visiting?

These are some of my favorite places…if I put all of the places I enjoyed visiting, this would go on and on.  I would also love to return to all of those places!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Last week?  Why can’t I think of anything. I am always grateful for the usual things. Which pretty much means everything. Sunrises and sunsets. The gorgeous greenness of Iowa. The peacefulness of the country. Family. Friends.  All of it.

I am most looking forward to our yearly family reunion. I am excited that one of my brother’s girls will be making the trip back for it. We will miss him so much, but I know he will be there in spirit!
