Share Your World-2015 Week #6

Looks like some great questions this week! I love the ones that really make me think!

What was the last time you went to a new place?

Love LOVE! going to new places!  Trying to think on this.  I think it was on a ride with a group of bikers to Poopy’s in Savanna, IL last summer. It was a beautiful ride and we had some fun stops!

Rode a ferry for the first time, too. On the way back we stopped at the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, IA. It might have been the first time I had been to those places, but we definitely are returning again this year.

If you were or are a writer do you prefer writing short stories, poems or novels, other?  And what type of genre would you prefer?

I have written a lot of poems and short stories in the past. I even posted one of my stories in its entirety on my blog! I would LOVE to write a novel but just add me to the list of many people who would.  I have published a book that was non-fiction and plan on writing another.  I think. I keep going back and forth on it. As of now, I will probably do it!

Out of your five senses (touch, taste, sight, smell, hearing) which is your favorite?

When I had to answer fast, my answer was sight! Because of all the things there is to see.  There is SO much beauty in the world.  You know what I think about my sunrises!

There is just SO much to see in the world. Places-buildings, old and new architecture, nature, movies, people’s faces….

If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?

Wow, this is a tough one. I think my answer depends on the day. Right now? Maybe a lot of them. Maybe not.  I think what makes this a tough one is that it also has to do with your own perception of your life and what is satisfying to you.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Every week I try to think of something that might be singled out and most weeks I can’t think of anything.  It may sound corny, or you might think it is an easy answer, BUT, my true answer is everything.  I am just grateful to be here and for everyone in my life and being able to do what I do!  I look forward to more of the same this week!
