I have a ‘little’ bit of time before the pie baking begins, so I thought I would spend it answering this week’s questions.
Do you have a signature dish? If not is their one in your family?
I was thinking no, not really. I cook a lot of things and if I say so, I cook them well. Then my son mentioned THE one thing that is always requested is of course, Grandma Ritter’s Coffee Cake. I even almost made some this morning when I spied buttermilk in the refrigerator. But of course, I changed my mind when I remembered all of the many cookies and other goodies around, not to mention all of the pies to be made!
Do you have a favorite board game?
I was never much of a board game person. I used to like playing Trivial Pursuit. A few years ago, one of the kids gave me CandyLand for Christmas. Not kidding! I LOVED it! I still have it, too!
Is there a household chore that you enjoy?
No. I enjoy when they are done! There is always too much to do!
What is one thing you will never care about?
I can’t think of one thing. I think if there is one thing about caring and me. I care too much about everything!
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming
I am grateful our winter so far has been almost nothing. It will make it a shorter one and that is a good thing! I am most looking forward to tonight-Christmas Eve and tomorrow-Christmas Day! Two of the best days of the year!
Merry Christmas to you all!
